Come with us today as we explore the beauty of Wye mountain Arkansas just north of the village about an hour. Wye mountain has 7 1/2 acres and over 80 different varieties of daffodils. Free to visit and Later in the festival you are able to buy and pick your own daffodils for a dollar per bundle. As a Ministry of the Wye Mountain Methodist Church and other Community entities it has existed for over 47 years. Starting from a very humble plot of ground this 7 1/2 acres of rolling beautiful green carpet transforms once a year to a vivid yellow field blowing gently in the March sunshine.
It is a highlight of the year for many families. Your children and have an exceptional time. Pets are permitted and later in the festival they are allowed in the field.
