Estimating record rainfall in this area it appears that the Lake Desoto Dam and spillway are holding steady. Over 50 years ago by the Cooper Communities Corporation our Hot Springs village property owners association has done an excellent job in maintaining the infrastructure and safety of this 210 acre beautiful lake located in western Hot Springs Village. Will it fail? Only the dear Lord above knows the future but from these photos it’s clear that the structure is intact and secure even with the expected eight to 12 inches of rainfall predicted for the Hot Springs Village area.
