Witness the moment when the Cortez Gate Bridge is overwhelmed by a massive flood! Known as the Beaudry Bridge because it’s just outside of Hot Springs Village it is a low water bridge that is actually an old train car. The bridge, a crucial artery for commuters To and from Jesseville, is inundated with water, causing chaos and destruction in its wake. The sheer force of the floodwaters is a testament to the fury of nature, leaving onlookers in awe. Get ready to experience the raw power of the elements in this jaw-dropping video!
If you ever needed proof of why to TURN AROUND and DONT DROWN this is it.
The detour signed and the street barricades were not up as I drove out but clearly it was completely unpassable. A Toyota pickup came across acting like he was going to drive through and he was easily up to three to four foot of water then He saw the debris on the bridge and began to turn around. I suspect we haven’t seen the worst of it yet last time we had a good flood about six weeks ago it was significantly even higher than this.
