Welcome to a sea of Gold!, The Wye Mountain Daffodil Festival. Join Dennis, Diana, and Scraps as we explore the 48th Annual Wye Mountain Daffodil Festival. Located just a short, scenic drive from Hot Springs Village and Little Rock, this legendary Arkansas tradition features over 7 acres and 80 varieties of beautiful daffodils.
In this episode, we dive into the “Golden Legacy” of Austin and Bessie Harmon, whose simple half-bushel of bulbs back in 1927 ended up saving the family farm during the Great Depression. We also chat with local visitors, meet a hardworking first responder with a “tough” recovery story, and give you all the pro tips for your visit—including when the fields open for public picking!
